一、
宣召与祷告
.
好,时间差不多了。
Judge: All right, ladies and gentleman.
Please take your place.
The
wedding ceremony is about to begin.
p>
好,女士们,先生们。请各就各位,婚礼马上就要开
始了。
We are here for the wedding of
John and Flora. To these
two
young
people,
this
marriage
signifies
the
birth
of
a
new spirit, a spirit which is a part of
each of us, yet not of
any one of us
alone. This
spring, the season when all
life is reborn and looms again.
It is
appropriate, therefore, that this wedding of John
and
Flora be in the spring, and that it
be under the open sky,
where we are
close to the earth and to the unity of life,
the totality of living things of which
we are part.
Judge: I think
it's time for the wedding to begin.
Let
us
welcome the minister and the bride.
Minister: We are gathered here today in
the sight of God,
and
in
the
face
of
this
company,
to
join
together
(Groom’s Name) and (Bride’s Name) in
holy matrimony;
which is an honorable
estate, instituted of God, since the
first
man
and
the
first
woman
walked
on
the
earth.
Therefore;
it
is
not
to
be
entered
into
unadvisedly
or
lightly, but reverently
and soberly.
祷告
God
the
Father,
source
of
all
life
and
love,
willed
that
husband and wife should become one
flesh in marriage.
Let
us
pray
to
him
in
sincerity
of
heart
on
this
joyous
occasion.
We pray for John and Flora, that their
love for each other
may
be
patterned
on
Christ's
love
for
his
bride,
the
Church. We pray to the Lord.
