1The Lion and the Mouse


狮和鼠



Lion was awakened from sleep by a Mouse running over his face.


Rising up in anger, he caught him and was about to kill him, when the Mouse piteously entreated,


saying:

would


only


spare


my


life,


I


would


be


sure


to


repay


your


kindness.


The


Lion


laughed and let him go.


It happened shortly after this that the Lion was caught by some hunters, who bound him by strong


ropes to the ground.


The Mouse, recognizing his roar, came up, and gnawed the rope with his teeth, and setting him


free,


exclaimed:

idea


of


my


ever


being


able


to


help


you,


not


expecting


to


receive from me any repayment of your favour; but now you know that it is possible for even a


Mouse to confer benefits on a Lion.


Little friends may prove great friends.


一只老鼠从一只狮子面前跑过去,将它从梦中吵醒。





狮子生气地跳起来,捉住老鼠,要 弄死它。老鼠哀求说:



只要你肯饶恕我这条小生命,


我将来一定会报答你的大恩。



狮子便笑着放了 它。





后来狮子被几个猎人捉住,用粗绳捆绑倒在地上。





老鼠听出是狮子的吼声,走来用牙 齿咬断绳索,释放了牠,并大声说:

笑我想帮你的忙,而且也不指望我有什么机会报答。但是你现在知道了,就算是小老鼠,也


能向狮子效劳的。






强者不会永远是强者,强者也会有需要弱者帮助的时候。

奔跑的小白兔


A little rabbit is running


A little rabbit is happily running through the forest when he stumbles upon a giraffe rolling a

the giraffe and elephant watch in horror, they look at him and ask,

想想自己的健 康啊。跟我们一起在这片美丽的森林中奔跑吧,你会

”大象看看它们,又看看手中的可卡因,于是把可卡因向身后一扔,跟着小白


兔和长颈鹿一起奔跑。





后来它们遇到一只正准备注射毒品的狮子,小白兔又对狮子说 :


“狮子我的朋友,


你为什么要做这种事呢

?


想想自己的健康啊


!


跟我们一起 在这片阳光明媚的森林中奔跑吧,



会感觉如此美好

狮子看看小白兔,


放下手中的针筒,


把小白兔猛揍了一顿。


长颈鹿和大象被吓坏了,


它们看着狮子问它:


“狮子,你为什么要打小白兔呢


?


它只是想要帮助我们大家啊

master fastened a bell round his neck to warn people of his presence. The Dog

bell,


and


strutted

tinkling

satisfaction. But an old


dog came up to him and said,
