一、

语篇类型、功能与翻译目的

从语篇类型上看，论文标题与摘要均属“信息类”语篇。

论文标题与摘要翻译的预期功能是帮助译语读者在对文章产生真实可信感的基础上，

了解文章的主题，使读者通过简短扼要的文字清楚了解文章的全貌和主要内容。

二、汉英论文标题与摘要的差异及翻译原则

汉英论文标题和摘要在功能方面有相同之处，在行文组篇方式上也逐渐在有些方面趋

于一致。

但是，汉英论文标题和摘要还是存在着诸多差异：

由于语用传统不同，在表达方式上；

在句法上；

在时态上；

（一）语用删减

为名词或名词短语。

（二）重组表层结构

达得更加清晰，有时译者需做较大的表层结构重组，使译文符合英文标题和摘要的习见语

法是“理”与“力”的结合

·使用动名词短语，如：

力求简洁

在标题和摘要文字的处理上 ，要充分考虑语篇特点和英文行文习惯，注意表达的简洁

性，以符合读者对此类语篇类型 的预期。如：

论文标题和摘要的翻译除 了要力求译文文字的简洁，遵从译语语言表达习惯，还要保

证意义与内容的通达。对一些 完全是中国特色的表达法，必要时需根据文章内容做释义处

理，不能为了片面追求简洁而 造成意义隐晦。
