lesson with you. Today, I
will talk about unit 8

New Year
》

After sharing my opinions on the
teaching aims, I especially want to mention

to the teaching material and Ss' cognitive

Part Two: Teaching and learning methods
In this lesson I'll mainly adopt Audio-
visual method, communicative method and
Situational method.
During the lesson, I'll ask the Ss to
work in pairs or groups quite often. While
working together, the Ss can help
each other and learn from each other.
Besides,
their abilities of
communication and cooperation will be improved
steadily.
Part Three: Teaching process

1. Free talk: Such
as: Good morning, xxx!
Look,

this? What color is it?
2. Sing a song: Happy New Year.
Purpose:
It

an
effective
way
to
arouse
students’
interest
and
create
relaxed
atmosphere
for
their
English
learning.
They
will
be involved in
the real
situation
quickly.
It
can
also
review
the
knowledge
they
have
learnt
and
lead
to
the
new
lesson.
Step 2. Presentation

Present the new words and
sentences
(1)After listening to the
song, I will ask Ss: New Year is coming. What do
we
say on New
Year

s Day? Then, I will
teach the sentence: Happy New Year!
(2)Look and guess

Tiao tiao, Sam and Bobby are having a New Year
