Please

start

fill
in
the
application.
Eligibility
To be admitted
to the Master of
Finance (MFin)
Programme
at
The
University
of
Hong
Kong,
students generally need to hold a first
degree.
Degrees
are
accepted
from
all
recognized
universities
in
Hong
Kong
and
abroad.
Professional
qualifications
may
also
be
accepted
as equivalent to a first degree.
Application
and
Submission
of
Supporting
Documents
Please
submit
your
application
online
via
the
taught
postgraduate
online
system
at
/admissions/tpg
.
Supporting
documents,
such
as
transcript/certificate
and
language
test
report,
if
applicable,
should
be
uploaded
to
the
online
application
system
along
with
your
application
before
the application deadline
.
Applicants
are
required
to
provide
the
original
copy
of
the
supporting
documents
if
they
are
admitted to the
programme.
Application Fee
The
application
fee
is
HK$$300
(non-
refundable)
and must be paid by credit
card online.
Tests
Graduate
Management
Admission
Test
(GMAT)
or
the
Graduate
Record
Examinations
(GRE)
scores
are
NOT
required,
but
a
good
GMAT/GRE
score
will
be
favorably
considered
and can be helpful for marginal cases.
Should you
wish
to
send
us
your
GMAT
or
GRE
score,
please upload a copy
of the test report along with
your
online application.
HKU Master of
Finance Application 2015
An
applicant
who
wishes
to
be
admitted
on
the
basis
of
a
qualification
from
a
university
or
comparable institution outside Hong
Kong where
the
language
of
teaching
and/or
examination
is
not English is required
to obtain a score of 577 or
above
in
the
paper-
based
Test
of
English
as
a
Foreign Language (TOEFL) or a score of
233 in
the
computer-based
TOEFL
or
a
score
of
90
in
the
internet-
based
TOEFL.
A
minimum
overall
band
of
7
with
no
subtest
lower
than
6.5
in
IELTS
is
also
accepted.
In
exceptional
circumstances he/she may be exempted
from this
requirement. Test scores
more than two years old
will not be
accepted.
When you pre-
register to take the test, you should
request that the official test scores
be sent to The
University
of
Hong
Kong.
The
HKU
TOEFL
code number is 9671.

Transcripts
Official
graduate
transcript
(or
interim
transcript
if
the
graduate
transcript
is
not
available

every
college
or
university
you
have
attended
should
be
uploaded
along
with
your
application.
Fees
The
programme
fee
will
be
payable
in
3
installments
over
1
year
for
full-time
study
or
6
installments
over
2
years
for
part-time
study,
irrespective
of
the
number
of
courses
taken
in
each module.
The
proposed tuition fee for 2015/2016 intake is
HK$$288,000
(or
HK$$336,000
for
double
concentration).
