Nick Vujicic: Attitude is Altitude
Nick Vujicic was born in
Melbourne, Australia
on
December
4
th
,
1982.
As
is
often
the
case,
a
new-born
infant
will
bring
happiness
and
joy
to
the whole family.
However, nick was born without
limbs,
which
made
his
father
disgusting
at
first
and
his
mother
dared
to
hold
him
four
months
later.
Nevertheless,
his
parents
didn
’
t
abandon
him.
On
the
contrary,
they expected him to live
a
normal life as common people. When he
was
only
18
months
old,
his
father
began
to
put
him
in
the
water,
encouraging and teaching him to swim.
At the age of 6, he learned to
type
with the two toes that he solely owns by the help
of his father, a
programmer. As he grew
old, he was sent to a local primary school to
study. Without
parents
’
company, he was
hard to avoid being bullied.
He
suffered despair and even committed himself to
suicide but failed.
Not
until
he
read
an
article
on
a
newspaper
about
the
story
of
a
handicapped
man
’
s
struggles
did
he
realize
the
goal
of
his
life.
Afterwards,
when he
reflect
on
the
tough
experience,
he
said
it
’
s
the
hard
time
that
taught
him
independence.
Apart
from
grasping
the
basic
skills,
such
as
brushing
teethes,
surfing
and
playing
golf,
he
