Abstract
This
essay focuses on the analysis of English and
Chinese differences.
In the past, many
English teachers focused their attention on
teaching
Englist itself, but ignored
the corresponding knowledge and rules on
social cultural background and inter
cultural communication. The less
developed teaching method actually
pre2vented the social communicative
function of English from being brought
into play, so much so that the
students
were
not
able
to
freely
express
themselves
and
understand
foreigners in the
course of intercultural communication.

. Introduction
Language is a social phenomenon and a
social communication tool. Each
language is given in the specific
social history developed. Different
peoples
because
of
geography,
folklore,
religion
and
values
and
so
there
are
differences, to express the same concept of the
word, in their own
unique
cultural
traditions
of
the
role
will
inevitably
produce
additional
terms
in
the
language
itself
on
the
different
associative
meaning.
Therefore,
each
country's
national
languages
have
a
lot
of
the
country's
only national
language or the specific social history with a
specific
color, distinctive phenomenon.
Only by understand the foreign language
knowledge of the country's cultural
background, to a deep understanding
of
the
language

learn.
