Manuscript preparation
1. General guidelines

Papers are
accepted only in English. British English spelling
and
punctuation is preferred.
?
The
total
length
of
Original
Reports
submitted
to
Materials
Research
Letters
should
not
exceed
six
pages,
including
figures,
references etc.,
when printed in the journal.
?
An
Original
Report
paper
should
meet
at
least
one
of
the
following
criteria:
1)
Significant
breakthrough
in
fundamental
materials
science,
2)
Unprecedented
mechanical
or
physical
properties,
3)
Novel
functionalities,
4).
Novel
and
significant
breakthroughs
in
materials
processing and synthesis, 5)
Significant breakthroughs in materials
characterizations,
6)
Novel
materials
structures
and
topologies.
The
author(s) should indicate in their
cover letter which of the above
significant criteria the paper meets.

Each
Original
Report
submission
should
include
a
'Novelty
Statement'
of
up
to
30
words,
which
should
succinctly
state
the
innovation and significance of the
paper.

The
number
of
figures
in
any
paper
type
should
not
normally
exceed
5.

Manuscripts
should
be
compiled
in
the
following
order:
title
page;
abstract;
keywords;
main
text;
acknowledgments;
references.
Table(s)
with caption(s) and figure(s) with
caption(s) should be embedded in
the
text for ease of review. Table(s) and caption(s)

submitted as a separate
file.
