1.
Grammar
school
emphasized
academic
education;
it
required
their
students to learn a large range of subjects.

Boat Race
Compete between the Cambridge and
Oxford, it held in London at
the

year.
It

events

Britain.
Generally
speaking

Cambridge is more likely to be the
winner than the Oxford.
The
Normans

When

Norman Conquest
1.
The conquest
sped up the development of feudalism of Britain.

influence

Anglo Saxon conquest
The roman army left Britain in 410.

was
called

Renaissance in England

It was during
the Tudor Monarchy that the renaissance spread
into England and reached it height.

renaissance is first used by the Italy scholars.

It originally
meant the discovery of ancient Greek and Roman
culture. But modern scholars use it to
mean the changes which
