the
metropolitan

There
are
three
members
in
my
family:
my parents
and
I.
My
mom
laid
off
in
1999
because
of
the
Poor
management
of
grain
depots
and
now
she
works
in
a
garment
factory.
My
father is a civil
servant. He is so careful
and strict to
his work that he sometimes
needs to
work overtime. So most of the
housework
is
done
by
my
industrious
mom.
My
mom
and
dad
are
very
kind
and
filial to the aged. Therefore, as their
child,
I
am
always
told
to
treat
others
with
patience and a sincere heart. They
are
my
strong
backing.
During
my
preparation
for
the
examination,
my
parents’
love
and
support
hav
e
always
been
my
power.
And
I
hope
in
the
future I will be able to repay them.

hobbies?/How

crazy
about
reading.
Compared
with
poetry
and
autobiographies,
I'
m
more
into
novels
and
fictions.
Reading
on
a
comfortable
sofa
in
an
afternoon
with
the
sun
shining
brightly
is
my
coziest time.
I
also love traveling. Traveling fills me
with great passion and the inner desire
to explore. During the journey, not
only
can
I
enjoy
great
scenery,
experience
different
cultures,
but
also
make
new
friends.

favorite
book
is
Forrest
Gump,
written by Winston Groom in 1986. The
hero is a man who born with low IQ, but
he
always
pursuits
what
he
wants
and
never
gives up, so he gets all he wants. I
really appreciate him. More
importantly,
I really like the words in
the book: life is
just
like
a
box
of
chocolates.
You
will
never know what you
gonna get. I wish I
can live my life
bravely as him.

Friends

me.
Friendship is what I valued most. When
I am with friends, I am happy and time
passes
quickly.
When
I
feel
miserable
and depressed, my
friends always come
to comfort me. When
I am in trouble, I
may turn to my
friends for help. And of

same
for
my
friends just as they do
for me.
As to the type of people who I
would
love
to
make
friends
with,
I
guess
I
prefer
people
who
are
easy-
going,
trustworthy and
optimistic.
