Bulk Power Controller
The
Bulk Power Controller (BPC) is the central
communications component of the BPA. Each BPA will
have just 1
controller.
The
connections on the BPC are:
T1 through
T4 are RJ45 style for its hub
T5 and T6
are D shell connectors
T7 is a
connection always for Bulk Power Fan
T8
goes to Motor Drive Assembly (MDA) 1
T9
goes to MDA 2
T10 goes to MDA 3
T11 goes to MDA 4

Bulk Power Regulator
A
Bulk Power Regulator (BPR) will come with each
BPA. The BPA can have up to 3 BPRs. Px-E1 will be
the first BPR
installed, filling
downward.
Each BPR has one connection
point in the middle for a possible connection to
an Internal Battery Feature (IBF).
Systems do not need to have IBFs.

enclosure.

nodes,
DCAs,
FSPs,
osilators

plug
into
this backplane.
P6 is in the
front, it is a light strip used to identify
components associated with the front of the
system.
P7 is in the rear, it is the
light strip used to identify components associated
with the rear of the system.
On the rear of the system
you have connections for:

located on the system backplane above and between
the osilators, location code is C5
FSP
0 is the right side FSP, with location code of C4
FSP 1 is the left side FSP, with
location code of C1
