My
Most
Unforgettable
Experience
March 25, 2009,
it was the most tiring day since I entered the
college.
It also was a day which
touched me the deepest. Since I needed some data
and information to support my practical
paper, my two friends and I went
to two
hospitals which were well-matched in strength.
There we intended
to
do
a
deep
investigation.
“Research
on
customers’
satisfaction
and
loyalty in service
industry
”
, this was my paper
title. In order to do it well,
we
needed to visit every patients in these two
hospitals each by each.
We met with
many kinds of people during our visiting. Some
people
helped
to
fill
our
questionnaires
very
kindly,
but
some
refused
us
very
directly.
We
felt
very
happy
when
we
met
with
cooperated
people.
But
embarrassment
filled
us
when
the
people
we
encountered
rejected
our
request. At that time we
only wanted to hide in someplace which was far
away
from
the
hospital.
Nevertheless,
looked
at
the
unfilled
questionnaires, we
encouraged ourselves to visit the next patient.
Still, we
worried that we would be
refused again. My friend told me to treat every
respondent as the first one, ask for
help
with full sincerity
and
I would
achieve
my
goal
easier.
I
tried
to
do
like
that.
After
finishing
one
successful
interview,
I
went
to
another
one
as
quickly
as
possible.
If
a
failed one,
I would never give up. I knew the next one would
be better.
Using
such
kind
of
attitude,
I
treated
every
respondent
as
my
first
