Festival
is
the
most
important
traditional
holiday
for
Chinese, just like
Christmas to Swedes.
But
the
festival
is
calculated
by
Chinese
lunar
calendar
and
has
been
celebrated
for
more than
four thousand
and seven
hundred years.

Chinese

year.

there

twelve animals representing a circle

twelve
years
in

the

Han
Dynasty

paper
was
invented
by
a
Chinese,

Paper
cutting
has
different
meanings
depending
on
the
different
pictures,
but
its
major

to
bring
good
luck
to
New
Y
ear.

a

shape
of
the
dumpling
resembles
gold
ingot
from
ancient
China.
So
people
eat
them
and

for
prosperity
and
treasure.

festival, we
visit our relatives and
friends. Children

inside
from

people
prefer
to
wear
red.
The
color
means
fire
which
keeps away from bad luck.

is one

is

the
