Dream Lightens Life

Spotted with ups and downs and twists and turns, our life is therefore twinkling with beams

of light. Then what is the reason? It is dreams that may partly account for it. What light is to a

dark night, dream is to our supposedly plain life. As for me, my dream is nothing but to be happy,

happy enough to assure myself that every day spent is rewarding and instructive.

as it is, it reveals a social phe

nomenon that people nowadays are increasingly indifferent to others’

help

and

they

are

more

inclined

to

stand

by,

sometimes

even

regarding

potential tragedy as something to make fun of. From my point of view, it is selfish and uncivilized

of people to behave like this and we should be ready to help others warm-heartedly.

In the first place, being willing to help others has long been recognized as a good virtue at

as if he wanted it to swim like the duck, thus making the little chicken surprised and frightened

swimming

Ironic

as

it

seems

to

be,

it

does

reveal

a

screaming-for-attention problem

that parents are pushing their kids too hard just as the man asked

the poor chicken to do something beyond it.

As far as I am concerned,

it’ s not wise of parents to force their kids to pursue exce

llence in a

field that they’ re not good at by following others’

example blindly

. Firstly, every kid is different,

just as the chicken and duck belongs to different species, so there’ s no possibility that kids can be
