To examine the developmental features of the
writings from
TEM-4 to
TEM-8

68 English majors
from School of Foreign Languages
Studies of SWFU are chosen to
participate in this research. This
research hopes to find out the
connection among the
syllabus

students' learning situation of writing
and the improvement of
sentence
complexity from TEM-4 to
TEM-8
，
and thus provides
some
guidance for teaching.
