So the sparrow led the old man to his home. There were many other birds.

They all looked healthy and enjoyed each other's company.

The sparrow said nothing and she finally decided to go home.

Beyond Your Own

Consider….YOU. In all time before now and in all time to come, there

has never been and will never be anyone just like you.

You are unique in the entire history and future of the universe.

Wow! Stop and think about that. You're better than one in a million, or a

billion, or a gazillion. .

You are the only one like you in a sea of infinity!

You're amazing! You're awesome! And by the way, TAG, you're it.

As amazing and awesome as you already are, you can be even more so.

Beautiful young people are the whimsy of nature, but beautiful old people

are true works of art.

But you don't become “beautiful”

just by virtue of the aging process.

Real beauty comes from learning, growing, and loving in the ways of life.

That is the Art of Life. You can learn slowly, and sometimes painfully, by

just waiting for life to happen to you.

Or you can choose to accelerate your growth and intentionally devour life

and all it offers. You are the artist that paints your future with the brush of

today.

Paint a Masterpiece.

God

he

Wherever you want to go, whatever you want to do, it is truly up to you.

The Statue

The owner laughed and said,

The man from the city said,

And the other man was astonished and delighted.

The statue was removed to the city, upon the back of an elephant.

And after many months the man from the hills visited the city, and as he

walked the streets he saw a crowd before a shop, and a man with a loud

voice was crying,

Come in and behold the most beautiful, the most wonderful statue in all

the world. Only two silver pieces to look upon this most marvelous work

of a master.

There upon the man from the hills paid two silver pieces and entered the

shop to see the statue that he himself had sold for one piece of silver

The Land of the Halt

Many years since in a small territory, there was not one of the inhabitants

who did not stutter when he spoke, and halt in walking; both these defects,

moreover, were considered accomplishments.

A stranger saw the evil, and thinking how they would admire his walking,

went about without halting, after the usual manner Of our race.

Every one stopped to look at him, and all those who looked, laughed, and

holding their sides to repress their merriment, shouted,

duty to cast the reproach from himself.

You halt, he cried,

so awkward a habit!

This only increased the uproars, when they heard him speak; he did not

even stammer; this was sufficient to disgrace him, and he was laughed at

throughout the country.
