阅读理解19-25(阅读下列短文,并根据文章内容选择最佳答案,将所选答案的序号
填在答题卡上)
There is a known safe level of drinking, one and a half ounces of pure alcohol a
day, or three one-ounce of whiskey, four eight-ounce glasses of beer, or half a bottle of
wine. This limit, of course, is only an average. For some people even one drop of alcohol
is too much.
Studies show that the driver who has drunk an amount of alcohol within this limit
is no more likely to have an accident than the driver who does not take any alcohol. But
beyond this limit, when the blood alcohol level begins to go up over the 0.05 percent

“sober” level, the risk of a traffic accident jumps greatly. By the time the blood-alcohol
level reaches 0.2 percent----the level of most drunk drivers who are not permitted----the
risk of an accident is 100 times that of the nondrinking driver.
19.Most people won’t get drunk after drinking .
A.forty-eight ounce of glass of beer
B.four ounces and eight of beer
C.thirty-two ounces of beer
D.half a bottle of beer
20.Everybody within this limit.
A.will get drunk

B.will not remain sober
C.will remain sober
D.will get excited
21.It makes whether a driver drinks within this limit or drink nothing
of alcohol, according to the passage.
A.very small difference
B.great difference
C.no difference
D.some difference
22.When the alcohol in blood is kept under 0.05 percent, .
A.people will not remain clear- headed
B.people will get heavily drunk

C.the risk of an accident is 100 times more
D.people will remain clear-headed
The United States is truly the “Land of Credit Card”. Americans use credit cards
to buy almost everything. The use of credit cards has many important advantages. The
use of cash is limited to the smallest amount; so, less money is stolen. People can carry
their credit cards and use them instead of making withdrawals of cash from their

accounts. People can also place orders for purchases by phone and pay by giving their
credit card number. This is easier and faster than paying by check.
However, the use of credit cards also troubles many Americans. If a credit card
owner does not pay all of the money that he owes at the end of the month, he is really
borrowing the money. Until he repays all of it, the rate of interest, often about 20
percent, is very high, because no payment is needed until one month after the purchase.
Many Americans have troubles in limiting their purchases. When the bills finally arrive,
they see that they do not have enough money. The result is high interest payments.
23. makes it easier to pay by credit cards than by check.
A.Limiting the use of cash
B.Placing orders by phone

C.Opening a deposit account
D.Ordering goods by E-mail
24.A person tries to pay all of his credit card bills each month because .
A.he has troubles in limiting his purchase
B.interest is charged if he does not
C.the payment is needed at the end of each month
D.the cash is too expensive
25.In the passage, the word withdrawals means .
A.taking money from the bank
B.putting money into the bank
C.giving the credit cards
D.checking account

餐饮服务与管理26-45
26.在中餐10人正式宴会座次安排中,主方翻译的左侧是
A.陪同
C.主人
