Now let me introduce myself to you. My name is Wang Shuzhen, 24 years old. I

was born in a small village of Henan province, northern part of China. I am a senior

Tianjin

Normal

University.

My

major

is

English

Literature,

and

I

will

receive my bachelor degree after my graduation in July, 2009. I hope I could get the

opportunity

finish

my

postgraduate

course

of

English

Literature

in

the

Foreign

Language College, Tianjin Normal University. Because English Literature is favorite

major and there are many respectable and knowledgeable professors here, who have

helped

me

a

lot

in

my

learning

of

English

Literature

and

I

am

eager

to

learn

more

under their instruction. I have desired and prepared for a long time.

Reasons for taking postgraduate exams:

First of all, I love English Literature as my major. Literature is very close to our

daily

life

and

it

can

deeply

reflect

the

styles

and

features

of

our

society.

I

am

also

fascinated by the masters’ re

freshing works. However, I am not easily satisfied with

such superficial knowledge and I hope I could have a better understanding in English

literature

by

study

further.

This

is

a

very

important

reason

for

me

to

take

the

postgraduate exams. What’s more,

I am looking forward to doing research in English

throughout

my

life

and

it

is

pleasure

to

be

with

favorite
