An Interesting Outing

One summer vacation, we went to the countryside to have a picnic.

We set out quite early on bicycle, carrying some food and some bottle

drinks.

After

about two

hour

s’

trip,

we

came

to

a

wonderful

place

near a

clean river with some big trees around. So we put our bicycles under the

trees

and

went

for

a

swim.

It

was

a

hot

day

and

the

water

was

very

refreshing. We swam freely and played heartily in the cool water. After

an

hour,

we

had

our

picnic

under

the

big

trees

drinking

and

eating,

talking and laughing, leisurely and happily. Then, we lay on grass, eyes

closed,

breathing

the

fresh

air

and

making

daydreams.

We

enjoyed

ourselves till the sun set.

We were reluctant to part with the pleasant place.

It was very late

when

we

got

home,

terribly

exhausted

but

with

a

happy

feeling,

for

it

was one of our most interesting outings.

An Interesting Outing

Today

is August 6

. It

’

s a fine day.

My parents and I climbed the

mountain and had a picnic. We took some food and some bottled drinks.

Wild

flowers

and

fruit

trees

were

beside

path.

I

picked

a

few

of

fruits. We walked about two hours along those trails.

Finally, we got to

the

top

of

the

mountain.

I

jumped

and

screamed.

We

came

to

a

level/plaint

place with some big trees around and had our picnic under

the

trees

drinking

and

eating,

talking

and

laughing.

We

enjoyed

ourselves till dusk/darkness/it was dark. We were reluctant to part with

the pleasant place.

Although

we

were

terribly

exhausted,

whole

body

and

mind

got

relaxation. Graceful environment is rare in present society so everybody

should protect it.
