Chinese Pregnant Women Give
Birth to a Child in America
Recently, it has become the focus of
media attention that more and
more
Chinese expectant mother went to America to give
birth to a child.
According to law of
the United States, anybody who is born in America
is
all Americans. Therefore, more and
more foreign pregnant women choose
America
to
give
their
child
United
States
nationality,
many
Chinese
included.
In
my
opinion,
there
are
advantages
and
disadvantages
to
go
to
America
to
give
birth
to
a
child.
Firstly,
as
we
all
know,
America
is
a
developed
country, and China is a developing country. The
medical level,
educational system and
other systems in China are not as good as those in
America.
Secondly,
according
to
the
parents
who
have
experience
of
American life, the children with United
States nationality could get much
more
institutional guarantee on their future education.
That is to say, they
are
easier
to
enter
a
good
school
to
receive
better
education
than
those
who
are
born
in
domestic.
However,
on
the
other
hand,
the
expectant
mother
and
the
family
overcome
a
lot
of
difficulties,
for
example,
the
long trip and new environment to
pregnant women, and the high medical
costs to the family.

what has been discussed above, I think to give
birth to a baby
