For this I',v prayed to

Buddha

for five hundred years

求佛让我们结一段尘缘

To be bestowed a destiny with you on this earth

佛於是把我化做一棵树

So Buddha makes me be a tree

长在你必经的路旁

Growing by the road you are bound to take

阳光下

慎重地开满了花

Blooming

cautiously

and

flourishing

under sunlight

朵朵都是我前世的盼望

Each blossom

an expectation of my previous life

当你走近

请你细听

When you approach,please listen

那颤抖的叶

是我等待的热情

The trembling leaves are the passion of my waiting

而当你终於无视地走过

But when at last you walk past unseeing

在你身後落了一地的

What lies scattered on the ground behind you

朋友啊

Oh my friend,is not petals

那不是花瓣

那是我凋零的心

But my

A Lane in the Rain

An oil-paper umbrella in hand, alone

撑着油纸伞

独自

I wander along the long lane

彷徨在悠长，

Deep and

morose

, in the rain

悠长又寂寥的雨巷，

Hoping to come upon

我希望逢着

A young lady like a lilac

一个丁香一样得

With knitted blues engrained

结着愁怨的姑娘

She is of

她是有

The same lilac color

丁香一样的颜色

The same lilac

scent

丁香一样的芬芳

And the same lilac

glumness

丁香一样的忧愁

In the rain, she saddens

在雨中哀怨

三、偶然

Fortuitousness

我是天空里的一片云

Being a cloud in the sky

偶尔投影在你的波心

On your heart lake I cast my figure.

你不必讶异

You don't have to wonder,

更无须欢喜

Nor should you cheer

在转瞬间消灭了踪影

In an instant I will disappear.

你我相逢在黑夜的海上

On the dark sea we encounter

你有你的

我有我的

方向

In different directions of our own we steer.

你记得也好

It's nice of you to remember.

最好你忘掉

But you'd better forget the luster

在这交会时互放的光亮

四、水调歌头

明月几时有

明月几时有，把酒 问青天。不知天上宫阙，今夕是何年。我欲乘风归去

又恐琼楼 玉宇，

高处不胜寒，起舞弄清影，何似在人间。

When will the moon be clear and bright? With a cup of wine in my hand, I

ask the blue sky.I don't know what season it would be in the heavens on this night.I'd like to ride the wind to fly

I fear the

crystal

and jade

mansions

are much too high and cold for me. Dancing with my moon-lit

shadow It does not seem like the human world.

转朱阁，低绮户，照无眠。不应有恨，何事长 向别时圆。人有悲欢离合，月有阴晴圆缺，此事古难全。但

愿人长久，千里共婵娟。

The moon rounds the red mansion Stoops to silk-pad doors Shines upon the sleepless

Bearing no grudge Why does the moon tend to be full when people are apart? People may have sorrow or joy, be

near or farapart The moon may be dim or bright, wax or wane This has been going on since the beginning of time

May we all be blessed with longevity Though far apart, we are still able to share the beauty of the moon together -
