Metal corrosion and metal corrosion
protection
Abstract: The
metal material has high strength, excellent
ductility and toughness, heat, cold,
may
be
casting,
forging,
stamping
and
welding,
but
also
good
electrical
conductivity,
thermal
conductivity
and
ferromagnetism,
therefore,
metal
corrosion
and
corrosion
of
materials
are
important. The corrosion phenomena and
the mechanism of metal are complex, but we can
take
measures to mitigate the corrosion
rate of metallic materials by a reasonable
selection of materials
and effective
anti-corrosion for longer equipment life, reduce
costs and improve labor productivity
are of great significance. This paper
introduces the corrosion mechanism of metal
materials, also
introduces several
common principles of corrosion protection methods
such as the formation of a
protective
layer,
electrochemical
protection
and
adds
corrosion
inhibitors,
in
the
end
introduces
their application
and development in metal corrosion protection.
