The hero in

eyes--my

dear mom.

I think my mother is

a hero. She is

neither

famous nor beautiful. But she always gives me what I want.

When I was younger, my mother always helped me with all problems I had without

saying tired. She never told me how hard to be a good mother. She only taught me to

be happy and enjoy my life.

My mother is such a great hero in my heart.

produce

enough

rice

to

feed her people every

year. Besides, many other countries, including the U.S., have

benefitted from his word.

He helped prove that China is not a weak country. I want to be person like him

that can make our homeland more powerful.

Great.

He

was

the

king

of

biggest

country

ancient

world.

every war and every fight. He beat many enemies and became the great person in the

We

can

learn

from

his

courage

of

overcoming

the

difficulties as well as his skills of doing many things. I hope I can be as great as him.

There are lots of famous persons in the world and they are like stars in the sky. But

the best lightest one in my heart is Liu Xiang. I think he is a real hero.

Many

years

ago,

all

the

people

in

the

world

think

that

Asians

are

not

good

at

running. However, Liu Xiang changed their minds. He got the first place! This was

the first Asian to win 110m hurdles at the Olympic Games. When Liu Xiang faced the

other strong runners, the only mind in his heart was “I believe I can.” He ran

like a

flying horse. He tried his best. At last he won the Olympic championship.

There was a joyful atmosphere everywhere in China when we knew he won. We

cried for his success. We can imagine how hard he worked to prepare for the race.

Liu Xiang is the hero in my heart. I hope he can do better in the 2008 Olympic Games.
