英语演讲比赛中即兴演讲题目
1. how do you think ant tribe
(
蚁族
)should go to smaller
cities?
well,
it’s a quite complex issue. in my eyes, i couldn’t
agree
more to stay in smaller cities.
because the natural environment
is
relatively good in small cities, where generally
have no
tiresome traffic jam. as we all
know, ant tribe, are mostly young
graduates who started their college
life in 1999. these college
graduates,
with hopes for a better quality of life, rush to
large
cities like beijing and shanghai,
where social resources are
abundant,
development opportunities are plentiful, also with
the most fierce competition. indeed,
the ant tribe dont have a
stable job in
major cities. they work so hard in order to stay
in
large city, but sometimes the
opportunities are not there for
them.
what a pity! they have big dreams and ambitious
plans,
but have slim chance to realize
them. nowadays, more and
more companies
have chosen to settle in the small cities. the
employment competition of second-tier
cities is smaller than
large cities’.
and the development potential i
s more
and more
big in small cities. so i
think, it’s a good opportunity for ant
tribe to start their career in second-
line cities.
2. how do you
think china introduce a complete ban on
smoking in restaurants and
bars?
well, it’s
a very complex question.
in
my eyes, i couldn’t agree
more to
completely ban smoking in all pubic places, much
less
in bars and restaurants. smoking
is a disgusting habit and
should be
discouraged. we all know clearly that smoking is
very harmful to the smoker’s health.
longtime
smoking can
lead to
lung cancer and other serious health problem.
almost a
quarter of chinas population
smoke and more than one million
people
die every year from smoking-
related
illnesses. i’m the
one who is allergic
to cigarette. i dont want to have to endure 2
hours of second-hand smoke just to
finish eating my dinner.
however, i
think it is too difficult to expect people to give
up
cold turkey. smoking ban has
implemented more than one year,
but no
obvious effect. the huge number of smokers, the
undefin
ed punishment rules,
smokers’ poor self
-control ability
and people’s weak awareness of
dangerous about secondhand
smoke, are
the challenges to the smoking ban. to this issue,
we just hope the government can really
force the ban to take
effect. also we
should strengthen our non-
smokers’
awareness
to discourage the smokers
around us.
university
student start their own business as soon
as they graduate from
universities?
well, it’s a
quite complex issue. with the competition in the
job
market
becoming increasingly fierce for college
graduates, some
ambitious students have
tried their hands at launching their
own businesses.
not all college graduates are suitable for
undertaking
entrepreneurial projects.
to launch a business, one needs to
have
a sound business idea, a viable business plan, the
charisma to create a cohesive team,
effective managerial skills,
and above
all, the courage to compete against powerful
rivals.
in addition, it still needs
some other conditions, such as seed
money, venture partners and so on. so,
if you have most of the
conditions all
above or you dare to have a try, then do it. if
you
don’t, perhaps you should have a
job first and wait for the
chance.
you
agree or disagree with the following statement?
married couples have a better life
without children?
nowadays,
there are more and more dink families continually
appearing in our society. the reason is
complicated. no matter
