Excessive packageing has increasingly become a common concern of the public.

learning

English,

attention

among

students nowadays. The reasons are simple but thought-provoking.

Topping the list is the prevailing use of computers to handle our daily paper work.

Since many word processing softwares are becoming increasingly powerful to correct

almost

all

spelling

mistakes,

we

tend

to

neglect

the

exact

spelling

of

many

words.

Besides, some people hold the notion that as long as one is able to communicate in

English, it is not at all important whether he can spell the words he uses or not. Last

not

least,

our

exams

do

not

test

spellings

so

much

as

they

used

to,

shifting

students' attention to other aspects of English acquisition.

Therefore,

in

to

change

situation,

students

should

be

encouraged

to
