春联与“福”字

春联是
中国人过春节的重要标志。每逢春节,家家户户都在大门两边贴上
崭新的春联,辞旧迎新
,为春节增加喜庆气氛。春联均为红色,对中国人来说,
红色是一种吉祥的颜色,代表了
好运、名誉和财富。贴春联的习俗究竟起于何
时,至今仍无确切的材料可资查询。传统春
联是用毛笔书写,但现在手写的春
联越来越少,多为印制的春联。在贴春联的同时,人们
还会贴“福”字。

字寓意“福气、福运、安康、幸福”<

愿,越来越多的人将“福”字倒过来贴。在汉语中,
“倒”

到”同音,所以“福倒”听起来就是“福到”
。

Chinese,
the
words
for
“
upside
down
”
and
“
arrive
”
are
homophonous
. Therefore, an
upside-down
“
福
”
sounds
identical
to
“
Good luck
arrives
”
.
