4. Beijing People's Congress is the organ of State power of Beijing Municipality. It is elected

for a term of 5 years. During annual sessions, deputies are to listen to, and to discuss, work

procuratorate; and to examine and ratify reports on plans about national economy and social

development of Beijing Municipality, as well as those on the budgets and states of execution.
