[ Chapter 3 ]

It took me a long time to
learn where he came from. The little prince, who
asked me so many questions,
never seemed to hear the ones I asked him. It was
from words dropped by chance that,
little by little, everything was revealed to me.
The first time he saw my
airplane, for instance (I shall not draw my
airplane;
that would be
much too complicated for me), he asked me:
proud to have him learn that I could
fly.
He cried out, then:
And the little
prince broke into a lovely peal of laughter, which
irritated me
very much. I
like my misfortunes to be taken seriously.
Then he added:
At that moment I caught a gleam of
light in the impenetrable mystery of his
presence; and I demanded,
abruptly:
But he did not
reply. He tossed his head gently, without taking
his eyes from
my plane:

“是的，”我谦虚的回答。
“哦！那可真好玩！”
小王子爆发出
一阵可爱的大笑，让我非常恼火。我想要我的不幸被认真对待。
然后他接着说：“所以，你也是从天上来的！你来自什么星球？”

我在他身世的神秘迷雾中见到了一线光明；我突然问道：
“你是从另一个星球来
的吗？”
< br>但是他没有回答。他轻轻的摇了摇头，眼睛没有离开我的飞机：
