EQ

means

emotional

intelligence.

The

expression

“

emotional

intelligence

”

is used to indicate a kind of intelligence that involves the

ability

to

perceive,

assess

and

positively

influence

one's

own

and

other

people's

emotions.

While

IQ

(Intelligence

Quotient)

defines

how

smart

you are, EQ (Emotional Quotient) defines how well you use what smarts

you have. Unlike IQ, which is pretty much established at birth, EQ can be

learned,

implemented

and

improved

upon

at

any

age.

In

fact,

studies

show

our

emotional

intelligence

increases

as

we

get

older

--

peaking

between 50 and 59.

ability.

Intelligence
