Personal Statement
Dear
teachers:
On the Valentine
'
s Day in 2014, I am
trotting in the drizzle
that night,
with a bunch of roses in hands. All streets were
ablaze with lights, and everyone was
all smiles, including me.
But don
'
tget me wrong, I am not one
of those sweet couples.
Instead, I aman
industrious girl/boy, busy struggling with my
little rose business.
I have
always rememberedthe first time I revealed
myfabulous
business idea
—
at least from
my point of view
—
to my
friends,
most of them simply thought I
might be leisurely or somehow
lacked of
money. Anyway, I still stick to my colors though.
Selling flowers seems an ordinary job
to peddle my kardinal and
tineke , but
it was much more difficult than it looked,
virtually. I spent two full weeks
preparing it, during which
period I
encountered numerous barriers. From studying
varieties
of rose, comparing their
prime cost and market information to
searching for the supply of flowers as
well as selecting the
selling site,
freshness in my heart was replaced by the
