Today I can
still remember how I became good table tennis
player.
The first day I went to high
school,
I saw some of my classmate
playing table
tennis.
Amazing at how skillful they were, I
was determined to be just as good. Later on,
I often watched them carefully to learn
our techniques. Then I kept practicing while I
became
confidently
enough
to
challenge
the
good
players.
At
the
end
in
the
term
I
became one of the best players of my
class.
I really take proud in this
experience, because it helped me realize that we
all can
fulfill our potential and
achieve to our goals through hard work. It also
helps me better
understand the
proverb
—
practice makes
perfect.

My uncle was the biology
professor. When I was young he was used to
take me to the biology lab, when I saw
pigs, cats and other animals. My uncle also
influenced me through nature walks. He
often takes me for a walk in the backyard.
We
would
catch
frogs
and
snake,
and
find
fireflies
in
the
sky.
He
seemed
know
everything
about
wildlife.
Eighteen
years
later,
think
about
my
uncle
and
her
influence
on my life, I feel very lucky. I am grateful that
I got the chance to learn for
him.
He
helped
me
develop
my
interest
in
all
that
was
alive
and
sometimes
death
around me.

Today I'd
like to tell you something that I experience in
the City Park. In the
afternoon of last
Sunday, my friend and I were taking a walk along a
river in the City
Park, when suddenly
we heard
a boy
call for help in
the river.
We jumped into the
river
or
pulled
the
boy
out.
Then
we
made
him
to
breathe
using
the
mouth

mouth
the
boy
came
to
himself,
we
sent
her
to
hospital
at
once
and
telephoned
his boy was saved. His parents were very thankful
us and the
doctors thought high of our
first aid. We realized that knowing first aid is
very help
and important because it can
help you to save lives.

One morning,
though the clock rang aloud, Mary didn't woke up
until eight.
She hurried got dressed,
snatched over her schoolbag, rushed towards her
school. She
ran as fast as he could, so
that she might miss the first lesson. But to her
disappointing,
she found the school was
quiet. After she entered into the schoolyard, it
seemed that
there
was
nobody
in
the
school
besides
the
guard.
Mary
was
wondering
what
had
happened
while she saw the word on the bulletin board. It
was Sunday.

Dear Jeremy and
Alice
,
Although
we've been delighted to have you as neighbours,
we're hoping to s
ettle
something that bothers to us. In a
word, your dog
—
Cleo.
We're
called
several
time
about
Cleo's
early
morning
barking.
It
is
difficult
to
understanding why she b
arks
every minute she's outside. The early morning
barking
have been disturbing us as we
are often up
all night with
the baby. Beside, Cleo tends
to bark a
average of six hours a day. This
morning
she starts barking
even before 5
o'clock. That is too much
for us, considering how closely the houses are.
We
appreciate
our
apologies
and
goodwill,
but
we
hope
that
you
can
figure
a
good way of settling the matter.
Sincerely
,
Jack and Rose
