给自己找借口的时候。

-其实…我明天得在家等快递，所以可能来不了了。

表达转折，和自己期待的不一样。

比如说你听说食堂的饭很难吃，但是发现其实没想象的那么难吃，你就可以
说：

Actually the food is not as bad as I thought.

其实也没有我想的那么难吃嘛。

As a matter of fact

这个短语可以使用在你想告诉别人一个事实，但是这个事实可能不是对方能
预期到的。

比如你在做presentation的时候，想要告诉大家一个会让人出乎意料的结
论时 就可以这么说：

To be honest

其实吧(老实跟你说吧)

这里的转折是出现在当你真实的想法可能让对方惊讶的时候。

To be honest, I don’t think Harry Style is handsome.

其实吧，我觉得哈卷没那么帅啊。

To be frank

这个短语和to be honest的意思一致，可以互相替换。

这里的转折是当你想为一件事或一个人做解释的 时候。当别人对这件事表达
消极的态度，你想要告诉他其实别有隐情的时候你就可以使用这个短语啦。

- To be fair, we just started this new topic. We need to go over the
basic stuff before we go on to discuss interesting things.

首先，我们在举例的时候我们第一个想起来的肯定是for example，不过，
除了for example之外呢，其实还可以使用such as，for instance，to
illustrate。接下来，我们来看一个例句：
