一、Warming-up.
Tape

1. Sing some English songs Ask volunteers to talk about some parts
of the body and do the action.
二、 Presentation.
1. Do the Activity.
2. Sounds and words.
1). Write the letters 'g' and 'j' on the board and tell Ss these two
letters always pronounce / / in many words.
2). Teach Ss to pronounce / /.
3). Play the tape and have Ss point to each word as the tape says
it. After that, play the tape again and let Ss repeat.
4). After enough practice, point to the pictures randomly and have
Ss say the words.
5). Play the tape for the chant. Let Ss point to the words that
have / / sounds with the tape.
6). Play the tape again and have Ss chant along.
三、 Homework.
1. Read the new sounds and the new words.
2. Finish the exercises of this unit in WB.
