如何真正有效地学习和掌握英语？


[1] Learning English is a political and economic initiative for China, which has long
been incorporated into China’s opening-up and reform drive. Learning English and a
good mastery thereof, above all, is importance itself for us ourselves and for our
country.

[1] 学英 语对中国来说是一项具有政治和经济意义的事儿，作为重要的元素早已
融入中国的改革开放中。所以说， 学习并掌握英语对我们学习者和国家都具有非
常重大的意义。


[2] Here is a question we cannot bypass but have to positively respond to: How to
earnestly learn and efficiently command English?

[2] 这里有个问题不能回避，而且还要好好作答：如何真正有效地学习和掌握英
语？


[3] Since China is currently wide open to the outside world and more and more
native speakers are desperately pouring into China, finding their niche for lucrative
profit by teaching the King’s English at almost every corner of Greater China. Actually
we have learnt English from these native speakers for almost three decades. How is
the result?

[3] 既然中国向世界敞开大门，越来越多的老外拼命涌入中国，几乎中华区的每
个角落都有他们的踪迹，因为 他们看好这块诱人的肥肉-- 教中国人学习“地道英
语”。实际上，我们也就这么学了几乎三十年。结果如何呢？


[4] It goes without saying that we, Chinese English learners, are still shying away from
occasions where we are forced to talk in English as we are, in all likelihood, struck
dumb or tongue-tied or mentally retarded in using English, actually lacking the true
communicative proficiency and capacity.

[4] 不用说，中国的英语学习者，总是尽量回避一切 讲英语的场合。多数情况下，
我们所学的英语是排不上用场。全是哑巴英语，一说起来就没词了，语塞或 出现
英语脑瘫的情况。说实在的，我们的实际英语交流能力和水平真的太差劲了。


[5] Almost every English learner has a strong desire to learn Spoken English in hopes
that they can effectively communicate with native speakers. So they attend all
spoken English classes taught by Chinese teachers and native speakers by turns, and
sure they are freshly stimulated and fed with a world of stylish English expressions,
colloquialisms and even slang. They seem to have never been bored with all this stuff.
But what’s the current reality? It still does not work when they are obliged to
communicate with native speakers. They can show themselves off to their heart’s
content by squeaking one or two phases or expressions they have crammed for it,
but actually they just make a laughingstock of themselves in the eyes of native
speakers who may think this way: they are all dummies and show-offs but fail to have
the normal communicative capacities.

[5] 几乎每个英语学习者都强烈的愿望--学好口语，这样就能和老外进行交流了。
所以他 们报班，接受中国英语老师和老外轮番的顺化和指导，好新鲜也好刺激地
学了一大堆时髦的英语，什么口 语表达，甚至俚语一有尽有。他们乐此不疲地学
习这些东西，但现实情况又如何呢？一旦和老外交流起来 ，还是不管用。他们只
是死记硬背几个短语或表达形式，赶紧向老外炫耀一番，看看我的英语还行吧！< br>殊不知，在老外眼里，他们只不过是一群小丑罢了，老外们自然会这么想：一群
屌丝，只会炫耀一 通，根本没有正常交流的能力。


[6] As we all know, NOE and other so-called famous brands in China hold sway in the
Chinese English teaching market, actually taking the lion’s shares. They bombard the
Chinese English learners with all kinds of well-schemed or engineered courses like
crazy, which moulds the learners into the patterned examinees crammed with all
rigid knowledge strings to cater to the fixed questions in the test papers.

[6] 众所周知，NOE和其他几家大牌子 的英语教育机构垄断了中国的英语教育市
场，他们占有绝对市场份额，所以也就可以连珠炮似地向中国的 英语学习者轮番
推出各式各样精心策划的课程，把他们全都打造成了同一模式的应试者，满脑子
填充的尽是死记硬背的知识串，按套路好应付试卷中的固定问题。
