There is another big change. When my parents got marry about twenty years ago,
they lived in a small room crowding with furniture. But now we have moved into
a big new three-room apartment. On short, our life has become more comfortably
and convenient.

home. There had been a terrible accident on the highway and, for a result, there

station and waited there unless the road was clear. In the car park here Gina nearly
got knocked over as car drove out far too quickly from behind a lorry. They finally
dropped Gina off at her parents’ and made our own way to home.

Show holding yesterday afternoon. When it was my turn I watched the others
and got very nervous. But when I was in the stage, I thought of all your efforts
to help me during the past few month and my fear was disappeared. Although
the question-and-answer section was the most challenging, I got through it
quite smooth by remembering all your suggestions. When the judge announced
the result, I was very excited and it was really pity that you were not there.
Please accept me warmest thanks. I look forward to your return to China.

Last Saturday, I went to visit the museum with my classmates. We were
interesting in dinosaurs, but we came to the Dinosaur World first. There we
see many fossils of different kind of dinosaurs. We were both amazed when
the guide showed us some dinosaur eggs which they were laid about 9.5 million
years ago.
Then we came to another hall, where many old Chinese inventions were
in show. When I saw those old things, I felt proud of being Chinese. I think
the visit very meaningfully. I should study harder to be inventor in the future
and make contributions to build our great motherland.

I got up early this morning, so I went to school without breakfast. I
walked in such a hurry as I stepped on a banana peel dropping by an old man
who was walking in the front of me. As a result, I slipped and fall on my
back. I was so angrily that I wanted to blame the old man, but I controlled
me at last. I picked up the banana peels, put it into the dustbin and ran school.
The class had begun, and I was very happy because I did what I should do
to protect our environment.

Li Ming went to the park in last Saturday afternoon after he finished his
homeworks. He saw several boys skating happy on the icy road. Suddenly he
heard a cry for a help. Looked ahead, he found one of the boys struggling in the
water. Li Ming jumped into cold water immediately and tried to pull the boy
to safety. Then the boy was given first aid and soon came to myself. The boy’s
parents came hurriedly before they received the phone call. They were very
thankful Li Ming, he was trembling there with cold.

Last Friday, a fire practice is carried out in our school. Before the
practice, our teacher explained to us what do when there was a fire in the
school but we all listened carefully to remember the right steps. At 9:30, we
were having a Chinese class while the fire alarm rang. Without a hesitation,
we went down the stairs in orders as planned. Followed our teacher’s instructions,
they moved towards the exit. Three minutes late, all of us came out of the
teaching building safely. How an unforgettable experience! I think all schools
should have this kind of practice.

I bring Rose home five years ago. My neighbor Mrs. Black fell in love
with her immediate she saw her. She was such lovely dog, after all. Rose also
seemed to like Mrs. Black. Two years ago, however, Mrs. Black got cancer.
Having been treating in hospital, she decided to receive treatment at home.
Since my husband and I were busy in our work, we seldom went to see her.
Three months ago, Mrs. Black died. To our surprised, her husband came to thank
to us for keeping Rose one day. He said in the past several months, Rose went
to accompany his wife every day before my husband and I went to work.
With she around, his wife felt so warm and wasn’t in so much pain. I never knew
that. That Rose did was really heart-warming.
