I am wiring to tell you about the discussion we have had about what life will be like in the
future. We believe that in the future there will be great changes in medicine, education,
environment and the lifestyle.
With the rapid development of medicine, people can have a medical examination through video
and equipment and a person will live up to the age of 120 on average.
As for education, we students can interact with teachers on the Internet and finish our
assignments at home rather than sit in the class taking lessons. Also, there will be no need to worry
about natural disasters like sandstorms and hurricanes because we can control the weather.
Above all, in our future daily life robots will do all the housework for us and we can even pay
the bill by credit card stored in cell phones when shopping.
In a word, in the future, people’s life will be quite different form that of today.

As is known to us all, there are a lot of differences between Chinese and American body
language, the commonest ones of which are as follows:
First of all, as for the touch of the body, women and girls in China often walk hand in hand; on
the contrary, Americans, especially women keep a distance away from each other. Also, Americans
think it rude to stick out one’s tongue, while the Chinese often act this way when they feel
embarrassed. Furthermore, the Chinese will pat children on the head if they like them, while the

The outstanding Chinese scientist Qian Xuesen, recognized as the “the father of China’s
missiles”, was born in Shanghai on December 11,1911 and passed away in Beijing on October
31,2009.
In 1934, he graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and in 1939 he got his doctor’s
degree in America.
After returning to China, he devoted all his life to the development of China’s missiles and space
programs. In 1999, he was awarded the medal for “Two Bombs, One satellite” and on December
21, 2001, asteroid 3763 (the Qian Xuesen star ) was named after him in honor of his contributions
to science.
Qian Xuesen’s devotions to our country as well as his personality glamour has set a good
example to all of us.

part of their life experience.
However, the students who prefer package tour hold the view that they do not have to worry

It is known to all that in 1969 American astronauts landed on the moon, but some scholars
conclude that it holds the following puzzles after studying the photographs and images taken from
the moon.
Since the moon has neither atmosphere nor wind, it is groundless that the American flag is
waving in the wind. In addition, there should be stars in theory but in fact there is no star in the
picture. Furthermore, the astronauts has his own shadow while the flag doesn’t.
Lacking reasonable explanations and adequate evidence, the trip to the moon remains a total
mystery.
