In western countries, the children get pocket money by doing some chores. School students
don’t have too much free time on weekdays, so they often do chores on weekends.
When kids are young, they can do some easy chores, like doing the dishes, sweeping the floor,

they grow older, they can do some difficult chores to get more money. They can help to cook
dinner or wash the car.

One possible version:
The new year is around the corner. Each of my family makes our New Year’s Resolutions. My
father is going to stop smoking and exercise more. Because he thinks it can help him stay healthy.
My mother has different ideas. She hopes to find a new job to make more money, she wants to buy
a car. As for my sister, she is going to learn a new language this year. She says she will travel to
Spain one day if she can speak Spanish well. I also have my resolutions. I am going to work
harder at school than before, I will spend more free time doing some volunteer work.
书面表达评分标准

一、本大题总分为15分，按五个档次给分
第一档（14—15分）能写明全部要点，语言基本无误，行文连贯，表达清楚。
第二档（11—13分）能写明大部分要点，语言有少量错误，行文比较连贯，表达比较
清楚。
第三档（8—10分）能写明部分要点，语言有较多错误，行文不太连贯，但尚能表达意
思。
第四档（5—7分）能写明少部分或个别要点，语言错误较多，只有个别句子可读、可
看懂。
第五档（0—4分）基本上没有写出内容要点，语言错误多，只有一些词汇堆积, 不知
所云。
