scene、scenery、sight和view都有景象的含义

sight则既可以指场景、眼前看到的景观，又可以指名胜、风景，只是 在表示后者的含义时，
必须要用复数。如：a sad sight悲惨的场景see the historical sights of London游览伦敦
的名胜古迹。它与view或者s cenery最大的不同就在于当sight指景物时，多指某的特有
的名胜。

view常指从远处或高处看到的scenery的一部分，有时可与scene互换。如：The mountain
hotel offered magnificent views.从山间旅行社可以看到壮丽的景观。
sight 表示“视觉所接受的景象”，但不含有 “自觉地使用视觉器官”的意思，而表示“目的物进
入了眼帘”。这时它虽是名词，却有动作的含义，常 用于 catch sight of 和 at the sight of 等
短语中。sight 在用于表示风景时，一般有修饰语来说明“特征”，从而使视觉所接受的印象
更为明确，更为具体







view“风景”；“景色”，通常指从某个特定（或许较高的）位置所见到的景物。
eg:The house has a fine view of the hills.
The view from the front of the mountain hotel is even more beautiful.
To get a better view of the valley,we climbed to the top of the hill.
sight指所见到的“景象”、“情景”
eg:What a sad sight it was!
