二、状语从句中的重点用法
1. 时间状语从句
（1）when 与 while 意为“在......期间，当......的时候”
a: when 引导的从句中的动词可以是非延续性动词，也可以是延续性
动词，而whil e引导的从句中的动词必须是延续性动词
Eg: My son was cooking dinner when I got home.
（2）while 还可译为“而，却”，表示对比关系
Eg: I like singing while my friend likes dancing.
2. until的用法
（1）not... until... 直到...... 才......
（2）Until... 直到...... 为止
3. 时间状语从句和条件状语从句中的必考点、重难点——主将从现
Eg: I will visit my good friend when I am free.

4. 宾语从句和条件状语从句同时出现

句中第一个if 跟在动词know后面，引导的是宾语从句，宾语从句根

据语 境该用什么时态就用什么时态！句中第二个if引导的是条件状语
从句，遵从
“主将从现”
5. 目的状语从句
so that + 从句
in order that + 从句 = in order to do sth.
6. 结果状语从句
（1）so + . + that 从句
= too + . + to + do sth.
= not + adj. + enough + to do sth. （ps:adj.是前面adj.的反义词）
Eg: The boy is so young that he can’t go to school.
= The boy is too young to go to school.
= The boy is not old enough to go to school.
（2）Such + n.+ that 从句
Eg：Jack was such a clever boy that he solved the hard problem.
7. 让步状语从句
thoughalthough;even if even though 意思为“尽管，即使，虽 然”，
不能与
“but”
连用，但是可以与
“yet”
连用!
