My opinion on Campus Love

campus love isn't a newly- born phenomenon. some people are

strongly against it while some others think it's natural. i don't

advocate it. the reasons are as follows. first of all,

undergraduates are neither fully psychologically mature nor able

to assume the responsibility, especially freshmen and

sophomores.

second, they may indulge in it, thus dilapidate their study,

which isn't rare. third, some just take advantage of it to kill time,

avoid boredom with much time at their own disposals, have

someone keep company, etc. what's more, some change dating

show off their charm or accumulate experience, but more often

than not, they would leave a bad impression, such as lacking the

sense of responsibility, on others, especially their former

Never Tell a Lie

telling a lie is morally wrong. besides, there are many

disadvantages lying in the way of a liar. first, he has to have a

good memory, lest he contradicts at one time what he said in

another. second, he is always annoyed by his conscience,

because he is in constant fear that his falsehood may be found

out. third, a liar is never trusted and respected by others. the

result may be that his words, even when he speaks the truth, are

not believed. fourth and the last, once a person has told a lie, he

cannot help telling another in order to conceal the first, and then

a third and a fourth, until lying becomes ahabit. after that, he may

say something untrue even when he wishes to speak the truth.

the disadvantages resulting from telling a lie are too many to

be listed. the above are just some of the obvious ones. if you

want to be free from these annoyances, if you want to be a

trustworthy person, never tell a lie.

Three Stages of the Writing Process

the whole writing process can be divided into three stages:

prewriting, writing, and rewriting. in the prewriting stage, we try

paragraph may suggest. sometimes, of course, they are

separated, especially in working on long research papers. we

may prepare extensive notes and draw several outlines before we

begin the first draft, and then, perhaps days later, we may do a

thorough revision of the draft. but sometimes, especially in

writing short papers, we may plan and revise as we write. and

often we may modify our original plan during the writing stage,

as the actual writing modifies our ideas.
